Deal overview
The trekking takes place along the pilgrimage routes, paths immersed in nature, in search of the territories that were the theater of the religious history of our country and following the traces of the culinary tradition of the region.
Starting from the Eco-Agriturismo "Oasi Masseria Sant'Elia" we will undertake this beautiful ecotourism tour which will lead us to get in touch with what used to be the Valmiscano - Fortore civilization, covering the southernmost part of the Via Francigena which winds through the Campania region and a part of the Tratturo.
The route is characterized by finds from the passage of ancient civilizations who used this stretch of road as the only possible connection for travel in the south of the peninsula and above all as a connection route with Rome.
For this reason, as well as being an immersion in nature, the stretch covered by our trek is a particular link between the Holy Land and the pilgrims coming from the region.
Along the route you can still breathe this climate of high spirituality with the points that were the scene of such passages: the many taverns and customs, but also the places of worship and dedicated to the prayer of the deceased, all in an absolutely evocative route made of dry stone walls and bridge still imbued with the charm of history.
