The event is part of the First Day of Walking and is sponsored by the Ministry of the Environment and Land Protection and our eco-farm.

The trekking that we propose on this occasion falls within the ecotourism-cultural-food and wine sector and will lead you on the trail of the civilization of the Campania "Valmiscano-Fortore" stretch of the
Regio Tratturo PescasseroliI-Candela and its sheep tracks, arms and diverticula, among archaeological settlements of the Samnites, flavors and traditions of the Campania hinterland.

You can spend two relaxing days full of unforgettable moments dedicated to culture and sport, in direct contact with nature and traditional local food and wine, on the thousand-year-old path that the shepherds used to travel.

This autumn weekend will be a regenerating experience that will recharge you, you will be able to enjoy the charm of the landscape, and be surprised by its indefinable cocktail of colours, lines and harmonies which have filled the eyes and souls of many generations of travellers, from times of the Samnites until today.
History has passed on the Regio Tratturo and particularly in the Valmiscano-Fortore area, an area that has seen the passage of ancient civilizations because it is crossed by a single natural route used as a road route for the passage from Rome to the Holy Land. The road was the scene of the passage not only of the transhumance of flocks (along the route it will still be possible to see the last signs) but also of armies, saints, crusaders, pilgrims and brigands.

Generations of travelers who have left a sign of their presence along the road with taverns, customs, necropolises, memorial stones, dry stone walls, fountains, rests, stazzi, larvari, road crosses, farms, inns, churches, sanctuaries, towers and castles, caves , buildings today immersed in the incredible naturalistic displays of fauna and flora that make this area a unique place in the world.
