R22 Helicopter Trial Lesson in Manston for 20min

Taking off from Manston Airport, a former commercial flights airport that it's used now as a facility for pilots to learn flying techniques and people to have fun getting familiar with this sport, we will be flying for 20 minutes around the hometown of the prestigious University of Kent. 

As part of our session, you'll be using a Robinson R22 helicopter. This model is one of the smallest as it has only two seats: one for you and the other, for the instructor who will be with you that day. It's one of the most stable helicopters that exist and they are perfect for those adventurers who want to get started with flying.

There are a few things that you must consider before booking. First of all, you must be 18 years old as a minimum to be part of this trial and second of all, the weight limit is 107 kilograms according to British Air regulations. 

As this is an introduction, you will get a briefing on safety and the general working of the helicopter's engine. When up in the air, you'll be spotting Kent's large green fields below. Without a doubt, it's a nice way to discover this historical region in the UK!

To take part in it, you must be, at least, 17 years old and your weight shouldn't be over 107 kilograms. 

The University of Kent will be a small point under your feet and the wonderful sky, the track of your journey. Our team will provide a safety briefing and they will teach you how a helicopter works and what are the best techniques to keep it steady after taking off from Manston Airport, an old international installation for commercial flights that, since 2018, it's the place for training people and professionals in the art of flying.
