R44 Helicopter Trial Lesson in Borehamwood 30 mins

Try your hand at piloting a 4-seater Robinson R44 helicopter! This 40-minute trial session in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, will give you a taste of flying solo - you'll get a true sense of utter freedom and fly over the sky!

Every lesson is evenly split between classroom theory and rotors-running airtime, so you'll be able to grasp the fundamentals as well as the essential ground and airborne emergency drills before taking to the skies with dual controls and your qualified instructor. You'll be able to take command whenever they believe you're ready!

Not only will you fly the helicopter solo, but your instructor will also serve as a guide, explaining the geography of the airfield and the surrounding region - there's also a fun hover challenge that awaits you as the class comes to a close, letting you show off your newly acquired skills!

Pre- and post-flight briefings are included in all courses to inform you of the safety requirements both on and above the ground, as well as the opportunity to purchase photographs and films of your time in the sky. You'll also receive a certificate of completion for finishing the class, so you can brag about your abilities to your friends and family!

Please note that the Robinson R44 helicopter has a max. height restriction of 7ft (213cm), and max. weight restriction of 20 stone (127kg). The minimum age required is 10-years-old and under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. The lesson itself is for 1 person but there are 3 seats available in the aircraft.
