R22 Helicopter Trial Lesson in Borehamwood 30 mins

Try your hand at flying a Robinson R22 helicopter! This 30 minute trial lesson in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire is designed to give you a taste of what it is to fly a helicopter. You'll be able to truly feel what it's like to live the dream and soar through the skies!

You'll experience the exhilarating feeling of vertical take-off, and a sense of freedom like no other as you absorb the breath taking 360 degrees views of the landscape below.

The lesson is split evenly between classroom theory and rotors running flying, so you'll be able to understand the procedures plus necessary ground and airborne emergency drills, after which you'll take to the skies using dual controls accompanied by your trained instructor. Once they feel you are ready, you'll be able to take the reigns for yourself! 

Not only will you pilot the aircraft yourself, but your instructor also doubles as a guide, introducing you to the geography of the aerodrome and the local area - there's also a fun hover challenge waiting for you to conclude the lesson!

Please note that the R22 has a max. height restriction of 6ft 2 (188cm) and max. weight restriction of 15 stone (95kg). The minimum age is 10-years-old, where under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
