The Borges Labyrinth was built as a tribute to the Argentine writer Jose Luis Borges, based on his story "The Garden of Forking Paths". Itslength is one kilometreand is made up of more than 3200 perfectly pruned hedges. I could lose you and find you within these green walls and escape from the chaos of the city.
To make your visit even more pleasant you can have an audio guide with a soundtrack composed by Antonio Fresa and performed by the La Fenice Theater Orchestra. Music will accompany you on this walk and connect you with the surrounding environment through all the senses.
Included in the tour ticket you will have access to the Nuova Manica Lunga library, formerly a converted dormitory of Benedictine monks. After getting lost and found again in the labyrinth, you can get lost among the numerous books that make up the library with 1400 meters of shelving and around 100,000 volumes.
During your visit to Venice, escape the city center and visit this oasis located in front of Piazza San Marco.
