Tour to Tamul Waterfall and Huasteca Water Cave

The Huasteca Potosina offers us countless places to visit, including the Tamul Waterfall and the Water Cave. We take you on a guided tour to discover these two wonderful places with incomparable natural beauty.

The adventure will begin with a canoe tour along the Tampaón River where we will navigate through its clear waters painted turquoise blue whose beauty will surprise you, we will be traveling through the fourth canyon of the Santa María system. We will paddle until we reach the Cueva del Agua, a beautiful transparent natural cenote inside a cavern where you can swim and practice some diving, its depth is more than 20 meters.

We will continue our path until we reach the Tamul Waterfall, impressive with its 105 meters high which makes it the largest waterfall in San Luis Potosí and the third largest in Mexico, and originates thanks to the union of the Gallinas River and the Santa María River. During the tour of a narrow canyon and impressive rock formations, we will cross spectacular landscapes where you will be surprised by the wonder of the flora and fauna of the place.

At the end of the canoe tour, we will offer you a delicious meal so that you can taste a typical dish from the region, necessary to regain energy after a great day on the river.

Don't forget to bring adjustable sandals or tennis shoes that you can get wet, shorts, a cap or hat, ecological insect repellent, a towel and a small backpack, a change of dry clothes, biodegradable sunscreen and of course... your camera.
