Just 30 kilometers north of Monterrey, you can visit the Garcia Caves through a guided tour. It will be an experience of between 6 to 8 hours where the adventure will begin from the moment we pick you up at your accommodation. We travel 2 kilometers inside a cavern belonging to the Sierra del Fraile and where we will visit these famous caves, which were discovered in 1843. We will ascend to them by means of a cable car that will travel 600 meters. Once we are inside, we can admire different formations among which you will find: La Gloria, La Capilla, El Infierno, El Navidad Tree, among others.
On this tour, we will also visit the historic center of the Municipality of García. We will walk through its old alleys and mansions that are many years old. To finish, we will go to La Huasteca, which is located at the entrance to the Sierra Madre Oriental. There, we will find ourselves surrounded by mountains with white stone, different species of agave such as lechuguillas and small animals belonging to semi-desert areas.
Don't forget to bring your camera, because we will find spectacular landscapes. In addition, you can also bring prepared foods and a cooler with drinks if you prefer. This experience is suitable for the whole family, so encourage them as it will be a day with many emotions.
