We will make a brief stop on the Big Island of Sayula to admire this place that has been compared to some corners of the east coast of Africa due to the three ecosystems that are here, for its plains, and for being an area where dozens of migratory birds arrive every year.
Afterwards you will be able to enjoy the beauty of this route in the section between Ferrería de Tula and Tapalpa, where you will find charming forests and small lakes.
Get ready to complete a couple of walks of 15 minutes each that will show you beautiful views of the Sierra Madre Occidental. A path with many more surprises that will end in the magical town of Tapalpa, with its cobblestone streets, majestic buildings and a strange red brick church.
You can choose where to eat, although we will recommend several places where you can enjoy excellent gastronomic experiences, and a place where you can buy traditional Tapalpa sweets, as well as preserves, eggnogs and other local products.
