Visit Timanfaya National Park and Playa Blanca

If you are spending your holidays in the Canary Islands and you are on the island of Fuerteventura, you cannot miss this interesting 9-hour excursion through Lanzarote. With it you will be able to acquire a more complete vision of the beauty that is hidden in this corner of the Atlantic Ocean, while spending a fantastic day in the company of your family or friends.

The activity will begin at 8:20 in the morning (we know that you will have to get up a little early, but we think it will be worth it) at the Caleta de Fuste hotel where you are staying. At this site we will pick you up to go by bus to Corralejo-Fuerteventura, with the aim of taking the ferry from Naviera Armas to Playa Blanca. We will arrive there around 10:30 and then board the bus that will take us to the Timanfaya National Park.

Once in the park, the professional guide will take you through its interior on a visit that will last about an hour. He himself will be the one who will explain in detail the singularities of its formation and the characteristics of the landscape. It will also show you a geothermal exhibition in which, when water is poured over one of the volcanoes, all the heat from its interior rises to the surface.

When the excursion time in the park has ended, we will return by bus to Playa Blanca, where you will have free time to discover the area and all the leisure activities that are hosted there. The return ferry will depart at 5:00 p.m. to take the ferry again to Naviera Armas and, from there, the bus to the hotel.

Without a doubt this adventure contains a mandatory visit if you are in the Canary Islands; since Timanfaya is the only natural park in the Spanish network that stands out for its geological character, full of amazing volcanic landscapes.
