Abd-al Rahman III wanted it to be a great project with a great political component, and it was. For several decades the Medina of Azahara was a political center through which around twenty thousand people passed throughout the life of this grandiose and spectacular construction.
You will have the opportunity to delight in all the archaeological remains of the Medina of Azahara; In addition, you can also enjoy the Interpretation Center, since this ticket includes both the visit to the Architectural Complex and the Interpretation Center. Both places are connected by a shuttle that will transport you from one to the other.
