Now the little ones can also enjoy, together with the adults, a day of visiting from Santander, going back 13,000 years in time and learning about prehistory and their ancestors with a walk through the town of Santillana del Mar, place of the Altamira Cave.

Children from 2 to 12 years old will be able to enjoy admission to the Altamira Museum and a walk through Santillana del Mar. Also, visit its Collegiate Church of Santa Juliana and the Jesús Otero Museum. All this with a duration of about 4.5 hours.

They will learn about the customs of our ancestors and their paintings and expressions, as well as outfits and appearance. A museum that is a replica of the original cave and that will bring us closer to the time in which ancient men lived and spent their daily lives within its walls.

To continue, there will be a walk through the town where the cave and the museum are located, Santillana de Mar. A tour through a town that is considered one of the most beautiful on the peninsula, and always accompanied by a guide who will supervise the route for your comfort and learning.
