Guided tour and sensory tasting of EVOO in Pulpí 3h

If there is something that characterizes us in Spain, it isour liquid gold, Extra Virgin Olive Oil. For this reason, we want you to fully enter the world of olive growing with thisguided tour and organoleptic EVOO tastingat our facilities in Pulpí.

The experience begins in ourgourmet store, where we will welcome you. From here we will begin the visit following the guide's vehicle to one of our olive farms in Pulpí. Among olive trees, you will discover how the olives are cared for and when they are harvested at their optimal veraison moment, a key factor in obtaining a EVOO of the highest quality.

Returning to our facilities, we will visit the winery and bottling plant. During the tour we will learn about theolive oil production process, from the arrival of the olive after harvest to its transformation into authentic olive juice, as well as the different commercial categories currently on the market.

The explanation is supported by video projections and graphic panels, which allow each phase of the process to be understood in a clear, visual and entertaining way. Before the tasting, you will participate in a professional tasting simulation, just as it is carried out by qualified tasters.

Guided by our expert taster, you will learn to identify the positive attributes and possible defects that an olive oil may present, and how these directly influence its correct classification within the different commercial categories.

After the tasting, we will not leave without being able to taste all our EVOOs and flavored condiments, accompanied by bread, while their sensory nuances and possible pairings are explained, putting into practice the knowledge acquired during the tasting.

After the experience, which will last between 2 and a half and 3 hours, you can optionally purchase any of our EVOOs in our gourmet store, as well as flavored condiments and a careful selection of products from Almería (wines, beer, sauces, fleur de sel, jams, honey, etc.).
