Always wanted to drive a single-seater race car?
We have just the thing! A Formula 1000 race car, painstakingly designed and purpose-built to achieve serious speeds on a track. 1000 refers to the 1-litre capacity engine. Fitted to a stripped-down, ultra-lightweight fibreglass chassis, this generates a frightening 525 bhp per tonne!
At the start of the experience, we’ll introduce you to this impressive machine and give you a briefing and training session. Next, we’ll drive you around the race circuit in a two-seater sports car. Finally, you get to feel like a racer, completing 8 laps of the track solo in the F1000.
An expert instructor will lead this 1:1 session, providing tuition, information and safety equipment. You’ll want to pay attention to their instructions because making 0 to 100 miles per hour in under 5 seconds while sitting millimetres above the tarmac is a very different experience to driving a production car - or even most supercars!
To take us up on this offer you need a valid driving licence that covers manual cars because the F1000 has a paddle-shift gearbox. In addition, you must measure between 151 and 188 cm and not exceed 102 kg in weight and be aged between 17 & 80 years old.
