Rock climbing is one of the most rewarding sports around. The combination of physical effort and mental problem solving means that it appeals to all kinds of people and anyone can excel.
One of the best climbing locations in our part of the country is Kirrie Hill, outside Kirriemuir. It’s instantly recognisable thanks to the deep red colour of the rock. But it’s not just a pretty face! That red rock also provides excellent grip to allow confident climbing.
In this two-hour session, we’ll introduce you to the equipment (which we supply), brief you on safety procedures and lead you up a series of climbing routes. We ask that you wear loose fitting trousers, trainers (lace-up are best), and tie your hair back if it’s long. Don't forget a bottle of water.
The session is run by one of our qualified instructors and it’s suitable for beginners and improvers. You’re currently looking at the price for adults, but you can bring children too by selecting the child’s price. We need two to four people to make this activity happen.
