Caving in the Sarsa Bocairent cave
General information
We will arrive at the cave in 20 minutes. The tour will be completed in about 3-4 hours. We will also return in 20 minutes.
Deal overview
Inside the Sierra de Mariola Natural Park you will find the Sarsa Cave, a cave with more than 700 meters of galleries, where we want you to join us for a caving session. It is accessed through the Santa Bárbara road.
The cave is located next to Bocairent, and was discovered more than a century ago. Today its interior is accessed for recreational purposes. We will guide you through one of its three sections, where we will overcome a maximum difference in height of 36 meters.
This is a route that is totally suitable for beginners and it is possible to enter the Sarsa at any time of year you prefer, since there are no restrictions.
Expect that you will get your clothes and boots stained or wet, so come with a spare for when you go out, and a towel to dry off. Also remember to bring a small bottle of water and sunscreen for walks in the hot season. We recommend you bring boots or sports shoes, no flip-flops or river shoes.
As long as you have a normal physical shape and do not have heart ailments or vertigo, you can do the activity.
