Aquatic caving in Sumidor Vallada tunnel 4h

There is always talk about the fantastic creatures that the seabed hides, but what about the interior of the Earth? If you are a curious person, we propose an activity that you cannot refuse. We will take you to explore the deepest plaster cavity in the world, the Sumidor Tunnel, through a 4-hour caving route. 

Guided by an expert caving instructor, you will begin a march that will take you to depths that you did not suspect could be reached. However, although the capacity of this cavity is 205 meters, the monitor will limit the itinerary to the area that can be accessed without the need for caving material.

You will enjoy crawling and overcoming narrow passes in the only cavity in the province of Valencia that still has an active watercourse. But to do this, you will have to travel to Vallada. In this beautiful Valencian town is the Barranco del Penyó, the point where the entrance to the cave is located.

Although we will do the simplest section, it will be necessary that you come with appropriate clothing for the activity. For our part, we will equip you with the necessary material to practice caving. And, don't worry, you won't return empty-handed. In addition to returning with a pleasant experience, you will take home a photo report of the best moments.
