Deal overview
It will be approximately 8 hours of experience, depending on the pace of the group. We will put on our helmets and life jackets to begin the adventure in which we will explore places such as the Pata de Perro Pool which has shallow waters. We will continue taking an interpretive walk to learn about the flora that surrounds this part of the mountain range.
Now we will head towards theLa Garganta Grotto, where we will find an underground river, prepare to immerse yourself in slightly deeper and colder waters. Following this we will arrive at the cavern of legends. We will prepare to visit the Sacred Canyon a magical place between rocks that will captivate you with the rays of light. We will continue the adventure to see the La Cortina and El Encanto waterfalls, two spectacular waterfalls that will relax us as we listen to them.
At this point we will finish with the water activities in Cuetzalan to prepare and enjoy a tour through the alleys of the town at night. To tell you about some of the places that we will visit is the Iglesia de los Jarritos which will surprise us not only for its façade but also for the details of its interior. We will also enter the Church of San Francisco de Asís.
We will finish with an explanation about the ritual of the flyers, one of the most important traditions of the town and its inhabitants. Closing the day with a wine tasting made in the region known as Yolixpan.
