Scotland is the wildest part of the British Isles, and one of the most ruggedly beautiful places in the country is a huge waterfall known as the Grey Mare’s Tail. This waterfall is at the head of Kinlochleven in the iconic landscape of Glencoe.
Our adventure is a two-part challenge. You start at the foot of the waterfall and ascend the only Via Ferrata route in Scotland, which takes you up the rock face in the spray of the falls. Then you go canyoning back down by whatever means necessary - abseiling, jumping, sliding and scrambling.
This activity is for people with some experience of rock climbing, canyoning or similar outdoor sports and everyone needs to be over 14 years old<. You’ll also need the help of an expert instructor to help you get through the intense environment, and we have the best.
We’ll give you a wetsuit and a helmet, so all you need to bring is a swimsuit and a pair of lace-up trainers that will give you some grip on the rock. Oh, and don’t forget a set of warm clothes to put on at the end!
