The canyon is nicknamed Canyon of Happiness. It owes this name to the river of happiness which crosses it which separates into numerous streams thus creating a real labyrinth within the Canyon of Bramabiau. This place full of particularities is unique, offering a wide range of choices and a perfect mix between canyoning and caving activities. You will be able to enjoy the nature of this preserved placethanks to a regulation of the number of visitors. You will have to be courageous to complete this course filled with descents, jumps of up to 8 meters, climbs, waterfalls and natural slides. You will even be able to do floating in total darkness in the middle of a cave. In addition, you will find the "the shell man" slide, 6 m long, at the end of the route.
The route takes place in the Gard department. This is an opportunity to discover the natural heritage of this incredible region. It is located near Millau (1 hour), Montpellier (2 hours), and Alès (2 hours).
A qualified instructor will accompany you during your activity to guide you and ensure your safety. Safety equipment is provided by the team. It complies with thestandards in forceand is checked regularly. However, you will be asked to bring with you a swimsuit to wear under your wetsuit, a pair of closed shoes such as sneakers, a towel to dry yourself off when returning from your course, as well as a bottle of water and a snack to get you back in shape at the end of the activity.
This canyoning descent is accessible to everyone from the age of 10. It does not require a certain level of expertise or physical condition to do it. You will only have to walk for 15 minutes, combining the duration of the approach walk and the end of the route.
