We take you to discover the gours du Ray canyon for half a day!
This canyon is located in the Alpes-Maritimes, in the commune of Gréolières. It is located more precisely in the Gorges du Loup, above Grasse. This canyon is very wildand is perfect if you want to start canyoning! It is suitable for all levels, including families! It extends over approximately 1 km, which promises a very complete route!
For this activity, we invite you to meet at the Sources de Gérolières where you will find our instructor who will brief you and equip you. You will then leave for a 10-minute approach walk before arriving at the edge of the canyon.
Once you arrive at the heart of the canyon, you will discover an exceptional place where nature reclaims its rights. You will start with an optional introduction to jumping and go down a 4 m natural slide before swimming in turquoise water.
During this half-day, you will be able to make jumps of more than 10 m high and land in pools of turquoise water. You will slide down the many natural slides of this canyon. You will take advantage of the surroundings to recharge your batteries and forget about your daily life. For the more adventurous, you can even do abseiling. Obviously, all of these obstacles are avoidable, which is why this canyon is suitable for everyone!
Once the activity is finished, you will return to the starting point with a 25-minute return walk where you can debrief with your instructor about this timeless moment!
Please note:
- We welcome you from June to September.
- It is mandatory to know how to swim and jump at least 2 m.
- Please bring sports shoes, a sandwich and your swimsuit!
