This raft canoe descent is not suitable for the faint of heart. It is a crossing of the Miño River at high speed, crossing rapids following the current of the river from the Lagoa do Louridal, located in the north of Portugal strong>, until you reach Arbo river beach, located in the municipality of Arbo, Galicia. Are you one of those who has always waited for this adventure?
Hours before the activity we will send you the exact location where we will meet. From there, each one will take their vehicle and we will go together to a small lagoon in the Melgaço region, where we will leave you the materials and we will get on the canoe-raft.
Before starting the activity we will briefly explain the route and give you some tricks to correctly handle the paddles and manage the raft canoe in the best possible way. The route begins at the Lagoa do Louridal and will end at the Melgaço sports complex.
At the end of the activity, we will toast with a glass of Albariño from the land and we will eat some donuts to regain our strength.
These raft canoes have capacity for 3 people (2 adults and 1 child). Children will be able to board the canoes as long as they are over 8 years old or taller than 1.20m. However, will only be able to carry out the activity from June until the end of September.
