Enjoy a unique experience through the green landscapes of southern Galicia as you navigate the Miño aboard a raft canoe. It is a quieter and less demanding activity than rafting, perfect for spending a pleasant afternoon with family or friends looking for a fun adventure .
In order to carry out this activity it will not be a necessary condition to have experience with this type of boat. The route is quite simple, consisting of a raft canoe route along the Miño River. We will go from the Sela River Beach, in Pontevedra to the Salvaterra de Miño Castle, located in the same province.
The route through the Miño can be completed in just over 3 hours and it is perfect to do it with children, since you will only have to cross small rapids that will barely move the canoe. At the end of the activity we will invite you to have a snack and we will toast with a typical wine from the area to celebrate the day in style.
It is an essential requirement for children to participate that they be over 10 years old or at least over 140cm in height. For adults, it will be enough to know how to swim, since the canoe could become destabilized and there is the possibility of ending up taking a good swim in the river.
