The River Clyde is one of the most important rivers in Scotland, flowing through the heart of the country’s largest city, Glasgow before opening out into a wide firth. But before it gets there, it snakes its way through the beautiful countryside of South Lanarkshire.
Join us in the village of Biggar to start a canoeing adventure through the charming lowland scenery. We’ll be on the river for three hours, enjoying the sights and sounds of the river and maybe spotting some wildlife too.
Our Canadian canoes are spacious and easy to use. We’ll have two people per canoe, with a maximum group size of eight people. No previous experience is necessary, and children from the age of ten can come!
Each boat will have a barrel for you to safely store your belongings. We ask you to bring a change of clothes, shoes that will get wet, waterproof layers and your own snacks and drinks.
