Junior Canoeing session on River Findhorn 2,30h

Who said canoeing is not for children too? As we know that many of you have kids between 8 and 17 years old and you want them to try new outdoor experiences, we think this is going to be the perfect plan for you: a 2.30-hour session on the stunning River Findhorn.

For the record, this activity doesn't require any special ability (you don't need to be able to swim either!) or have any previous experience canoeing on the river. We have designed this adventure according to safety rules and, for you to learn how to paddle and increase your comfort on the water, we use inflatable canoes. It sounds good, doesn't it? That's because it is! Actually, there's a wrong idea about inflatable canoes: they are the best for introducing new adventurers to this sport as they are easier to use, so you can focus on learning how to paddle and to navigate onboard.

We have people in our team, like Andrew Lamb, who has been practising water sports since they were 6 years old, so you and your children will be in good hands the whole time. Also, River Findhorn offers different possibilities. As it is one of the longest watercourses in Scotland, we can find areas of flat water, which are perfect for your paddling practising as well as to behold nature and the many bridges that we have here (for example, Logie Bridge, created by Thomas Telford for improving roads and connections in the area) and we will pass under their arches to get to places where waters flow more rapidly.

To finally convince you that this is a great session for including your children, we remind you that they will be wearing buoyancy aids and helmets (all provided by us) the whole time. The only things they should wear are comfortable shoes and swimming suits. Bring them over with you!
