Canoe excursion through Alto Navia for one day

The area where Galicia and Asturias meet is probably one of the most beautiful in all of Spain. We suggest you delve into a part of this area through a spectacular canoe route.

We are going to enter the waters of the Alto Navia River, very close to its source. It is an isolated environment, where you will enjoy virgin nature, since very few people know how to get here. We will be alone. We will get here through the Os Ancares Natural Reserve, belonging to the Galician territory.

It is a very fast-flowing stretch, but do not feel intimidated by the force of the river, since the canoes in which we sail are very difficult to capsize, so we will be safe.

After approximately 6 hours descending the river, we will reach the Boabdil bridge, where our support van is waiting for us, which will return us to the starting point.

It is not mandatory to have experience, but you do need to be in minimally good shape, and come with the mentality of doing a long route.

On the way back we can make stops so that the guide can interpret the surroundings and you can learn more about the area, for example about an old metal foundry.

The planned program is for a full day, but it can be prepared for several days, even up to a week. Ask us if you are interested.
