Our 3-man canoes are the best option for groups of three, especially for families with one child. We promise it's the perfect fit! You can come to Loch Insh to explore the diverse atmosphere it offers.
For 45 minutes, you'll explore every corner of the area. You can take different directions depending on wind conditions. You can go Southwest heading to explore the Insh Marshes Nature Reserve or Northeast towards Osprey Nest. Both options are promising!
Canoeing is the best plan to enjoy on the water without getting wet. We provide canoes, paddles and buoyancy aid. However, we recommend dressing for the weather and bringing an extra change of clothing just in case. We run our canoeing hire from April-October. You will love it!

Loch Insh has a diverse atmosphere to explore. You don't need to be an expert to paddle around the area and enjoy the vegetation of the Loch. You have multiple options to paddle depending on wind conditions. You can go northeast of the Centre towards the Island downstream or southwest taking the Canal to enjoy Insh Marshes Nature Reserve. We promise an absolute blast, whatever your choice is!
We provide our canoes, paddles and buoyancy aid. We recommend dressing for the water and bringing an extra change of clothing. Please allow 1.5 hours of your day to enjoy yourself without a hurry. You can visit us any day between April and October.
