We welcome complete beginners and more experienced paddlers. Loch Insh is a beautiful area with a diverse atmosphere ready to receive you. For one hour, you'll be under the instruction of a professional and friendly coach who will help you sharpen or gain paddling skills. You will also have an absolute blast with a few games!
You are welcome to come with your family. The minimum age we require is eight years old. However, we can arrange sessions for younger children under certain circumstances. We are available according to instructor availability, so we suggest getting in touch with us beforehand.
We suggest dressing for the weather and bringing an extra change of clothing. Our canoeing taster sessions are available from April to October.

We run our canoeing taster sessions at Loch Insh, a beautiful, quiet and picturesque area that will take your breath away with its beauty. We will start your session with a quick briefing. One of our instructors will provide a fun lesson in a friendly atmosphere, making you build confidence in no time.
Our instructors also provide all the equipment. We only recommend bringing an extra change of clothing. Once you get familiar with the basic techniques, you'll play multiple games to put them to the test. Please allow two hours of your day to enjoy at its best.
We cater our taster sessions for small groups, welcoming children 8+ years old under adult supervision. Our canoeing adventures are available from April to October, promising a fun time with your friends and family.
