Joining us is the most challenging part, and even that is so easy; you just have to come to Hereford for an adventure through the River Wye to Hoarwithy and hire our elite canoe equipment that comes with a paddle and buoyancy aid.
Seventeen miles of scenic countryside, picturesque waters and more await you on this 6 to 8-hour canoeing expedition.
This route is full of historical sights and incredible landmarks, which you will find out quickly as you pass a 12th Century Bridge, iconic Cathedral and Victorian footbridge on your departure from Hereford.
The city sights will soon be out of view as you pass down the pleasant rapids at Hampton Road Rise, taking in more natural sights as you soon head towards River Lugg, where it is said that the Mordiford Dragon once resided here.
Our centre at Lucksall Park is not far around the corner, and you can take a break here for a nice bit of lunch before setting off again. You can launch from here and paddle towards Fownhope village and Lee Brink navigating rapids and loops, passing more stunning sights leading you towards Carey Islands and your final destination Hoarwithy.
You can celebrate the tremendous accomplishment of completing this full-day adventure by popping into the New Harp Inn nearby for food and drinks, or even stay overnight at our base in Tresseck Campsite for the whole countryside experience.
