Furnas Lagoa Das São Miguel 2h30 Canoeing Route

In order to participate in this canoeing course it is essential to bring bath, water, some food, aquatic shoes (slippers, slippers ...), towel, sunscreen and a change of clothes. Dry for later. The meeting point for this activity will be in our facilities, behind the parking park that will find at Furnas Lagoa . Before starting this canoe tour, the instructor will give a briefing explaining the itinerary and giving some instructions to the group.
Firstly, you will meet one of the craters of the volcano that once shaped the island. Then you will cross across the lake to see one of the region's classic chapels in the new 19th century Gothic style. To finish the canoe route we will go close to the coast to the point where we can enjoy the smoke.
As a recommendation, you should not leave the Furnas without proving the Portuguese cooked , a typical dish of its gastronomy based on vegetables, meat and rice. You will love it!

During this canoe route you will paddle through the waters that cover the old Furnas volcano, currently inactive but which still makes its presence known through the fumaroles. At the end of the activity you will be able to see these spectacular columns of steam and gases that emanate from the depths of the earth.
