We are a boating venue right on the banks of the River Leam. With a special shallow water pool and access to calm stretches of the river, we have the ideal location for families with young children to get out onto the water.
Why not have a go in one of our rowing boats? They’re of a traditional design, with space for two adults and two children. They come with oars so everyone can have a go at rowing - as well as buoyancy aids.
Our venue is staffed by watersports experts who’ll give you a quick safety talk when you arrive before sorting you out with all the kit. They can also give you some pointers of where to row to.
This price is for an enjoyable 30 minutes on the river. You can explore the grassy and wooded banks of the the river as it passes by Welches Meadow or just pootle about at your leisure.

When you hire a rowing boat from us, nothing at all! We are a team of experienced boaters with top-quality equipment. Before you get onto the water, we’ll make sure that you’re comfortable with the boat and feel fully safe.
Then you can leave our venue - right in the heart of Leamington Spa - and head out onto the River Leam. This is a calm section of the river, perfect for leisurely rowing.
This price is for 1 - 3 adults. You can choose to have one person rowing, or two people can take an oar each. Don’t worry, it won’t take you long to get the hang of it!
You’ll be out on the river for one hour. You can head to the local beauty spot Welches Meadow or go in the opposite direction towards the town centre. Why not pack a picnic lunch to enjoy on the riverbanks?
