1-hour hot air balloon flight in Puy-en-Velay, under 12 years old
General information
Deal overview
At what age can a child ride a hot air balloon? With us, there is no minimum age. This price concerns children under 12 years old, who always fly accompanied by an adult. Only those over 1.30 m tall can see over the edge of the carrycot, and we will also ask you when booking for the child's exact age and weight.
Your child takes the same flight as adults: about an hour above Velay, with the same ground preparation and a route that depends on the wind. The appointment being set around thirty minutes before sunrise, waking up will be very early in summer and a little less in winter. Everyone remains standing in the basket during the flight and crouches down for landing, and the child must be able to stand for more than an hour.
After landing, he also receives his ascent certificate. The 180° photo taken in flight will be sent to you after your getaway. Family members who do not board the basket can wait at the takeoff area to watch the inflation and see the balloon rise above Velay.
