Discovery hot air balloon flight in Maintenon 1 hour

It’s an aerial leisure activity like no other. It promises you tranquility, new discoveries and absolute well-being. It’s a splendid discovery flight aboard a hot air balloon that we invite you to experience for an hour. Through it, you are sure to discover wonders of the rural side of Île-de-France. In addition, during this flight, you will fly over theChâteau de Maintenon. The latter is a historical monument dating from the reign of Louis XIV and bearing the name of his hidden wife, Madame Maintenon.

On the day of your flight, you will go to the flight base located a stone's throw from the castle, one hour after sunrise or three hours before dusk. Your balloon pilot will already be there and will welcome you then give you a detailed briefing on how the baptism in a hot air balloon will take place, as well as important safety instructions to follow. Once this is completed, you will assist and participate (optional) in the preparation of the balloon which will carry you, more particularly, during the inflation phase.

Once the hot air balloon is ready, you and all the other participants will board the basket, then the balloon will begin to rise. The adventure will begin; you won't know where to turn! Magnificent landscapes will surround you and enhance your experience. The Eure Valley will be visible to you with its green meadows and its flora that will surprise you. You will also be able to discover the Epaule de Gallardon and the luxurious Château d'Esclimont. If the sky is clear and the wind guides the hot air balloon towards the East, you will even be able to see from a distance the tallest towers of Paris, the Eiffel Tower and the of Montparnasse.

Once your hour is up, the balloon pilot will make his landing, on a plain, then you can descend to dry land and enjoy a complimentary glass of champagne , giving you the opportunity to debrief about your experience. Before returning, you will have flight certificates as a souvenir.

The return to the flight base is done aboard our vehicles which will have followed you. Treat yourself and fly into the skies of Maintenon, half an hour fromChartres and one hour from Paris.
