Archery Adult Session in Arnold for 1h

Archery invites you to come to the forest, doesn't it? They both seem made for each other. We're in the mood for celebration in Arnold because, at the heart of Lime Lane Woods, you can enjoy our 1-hour archery session. Are you 17 years old? Fantastic! Get into the car and drive the 6 miles that take us from Nottingham City Centre via the B684.

Once you have arrived, you will get great training in order to have all the rules and the tips of this sport at hand and, right after, you will start practising to finally hit the targets. We assure you that despite your abilities or previous experience, you are going to hit the yellow area, which means the highest point!

Many of you always ask if there's any problem with having any experience, but as we've just said: no. We try to make instructions as clear as possible so you don't have any doubt.

Others love to bring their dogs with them. Is that even possible? Of course, it is! We're in the middle of nature. There's no better place than this to spend a lovely day. In the end, you can have a nice picnic after your session is over or you can book another archery session if possible.

What happens if it rains? Take it easy, we would have to change the day, but we know that the experience is worth the wait.

If Katniss Everdeen was the best in archery, her friend Gale Hawthorne was a crossbow professional. Taking advantage of our open space at the Lime Lane Woods, in Arnold, we decided to create a program for you, now that you are at least 17 years old, to feel like one of The Hunger Games characters.

How? With our 1-hour session where you will learn how to load the bow, what the elastic band is for, which arrows are the best and, of course, and above all, what the safety rules are to only worry about enjoying the experience. Though this activity may sound similar to archery, we promise you that you'll see the difference from the very first minute.

Projectiles move faster, the impact is stronger and the feeling is more intense. In order to be more comfortable, we always recommend wearing clothes that allow you to move and a pair of old sneakers.

We also remind you that our team will be by your side to answer any doubt you may have and to make your shooting style even better (it doesn't matter if you have never tried crossbow before!).

Also, we are in a great location, but not only because we're surrounded by green beauty and ancient oaks, but because it's easy to get here via the B684.
