We travel as the crow flies - by air! This means that the Brecon Beacons National Park is less than an hour away from our base at Halfpenny Green Airport, Wolverhampton. We can visit them, enjoy the views and return in just an hour and forty five minutes.
Travelling by light aircraft is so much more rewarding than flying in a jumbo jet. They have large windows, 360º viewing potential and a nimble feeling in the air. We use two-seater models, from the factories of Piper and Cessna.
One of the seats will be occupied by the pilot, leaving the other for a single passenger. If you’re desperate to see the mountains of South Wales, this is your chance! Alternatively, you can surprise someone special with this experience as a gift.
