We are located in the Seine-Maritime department in Boos, only 20 minutes from Rouen. We will welcome you at the Rouen-Vallée de Seine airport which is located in Boos.
You will be taken care of and supervised by our friendly team then by your instructor pilot. He will give you a quick briefing on the initiation process, then he will introduce you to the plane that you will handle during these four days of learning: the Cessna 152.
You will do in-flight lessons of 35 to 45 minutes during which you will be in the pilot's seat, at the controls, with your instructor right next to you who will help you and guide you until you are independently.
Above the sublime landscapes of Normandy, you will learn many things about aviation: the basics of piloting, mastering the control tools (dashboard and control surfaces) . You will also learn the correct way to take off and land as well as all the flying techniques in the sky, and finally, you will learn how to follow a course and fly independently.
The theoretical lessons that you will do before each session for around thirty minutes will cover all the things you will need to know in order to be more comfortable and behave safely during flights.
You will see concepts related to everything that includes aviation: reading a navigation chart, visual navigation using landmarks and routing, navigation instruments ( compass, heading curator, etc.), dead reckoning navigation thanks to heading course and flight time.
Then during thepractical lessons, you will put all this into practice: takeoff, climb, levels, descent, the path followed according to a landmark and following a heading.
At the end of each session, you will do a debriefing with your instructor in order to review what was successful and what was more difficult. This will also be the time for you to ask him any questions you have.
Over the course of the sessions, you will evolve alongside your instructor and at the end of this introductory pack, you will be autonomous to fly alone in the sky of Boos!
