We are a flight school based at London Elstree Aerodrome, just off the M1 between Watford and Borehamwood. Taking to the skies here, you’ll enjoy views over the capital city in one direction and the home counties in the other.
You’ll be greeted on arrival by your flight instructor, a qualified pilot with many flying hours under their belt. They’ll give you a briefing on the safety and theory of flight, then get you airborne. Once in the air, they can give you control of the plane, allowing you to feel what it’s like to be an aviator.
The plane in question is a Cessna 152, one of the best-loved aircraft in private aviation. It has two seats, one for you and one for the pilot. You will be asked for your height and weight before this flight is confirmed.
