Why not drop them in at the deep end with an off-roading experience in a 4x4? We have a special Land Rover Discovery that’s set up for youngsters with automatic transmission and dual controls.
The extra clutch and brake will be at the feet of one of our trained motorsports instructors. They’ll start the session with a safety briefing then get your child into the driving seat, learning how to control the 4x4 and having an introduction to high and low range gears as well as the locking differential.
In no time, they’ll be ready to have a go around our junior off-road circuit at our Cotswold Water Park venue in Gloucestershire. It’s a perfect balance of challenging terrain and low-risk.
The session lasts an hour. If you want to join the fun as a passenger in the Land Rover there’s a fee, payable on the day of the experience.
Children and teens from the age of 12 years old are welcome. It doesn’t matter if they’ve never driven a vehicle before or if they have a bit of experience, we’ll adjust the activities to their level. At the end of the session they get a report card!
