Then you’re seriously in need of some off-roading! And nowhere could be better for this high-octane adventure than the hilly terrain of the Cotswolds. That’s exactly where you’ll find us - in the Cotswold Water Park, Gloucestershire.
We have an off-road route that loops around a lake, through woodland and above a deep gully. To make your way around it, you’ll be at the wheel of a specially modified Land Rover Discovery.
It doesn’t matter if you’ve never driven a car off the highways and onto the byways before, one of our experienced instructors will be with you the whole way. They’ll brief you on safety and 4x4 driving before you set off and help you with the diff lock and high and low range gears as you pick your way past the obstacles.
This session is for valid driving licence holders. The height limits are 5’ and 6’6. Our 4x4s are pretty tough, so there are no upper weight limits!

Full-Day Rallying and 4x4 Driving in Down Ampney

This combo session is a full, 6-hour day of motorsports mayhem. In the morning you’ll be negotiating a challenging off-road circuit in a Land Rover Discovery and the afternoon will see you tearing around the rally track and competing for the fastest lap!
Learning to drive a 4x4 off-road is difficult but rewarding. With the help of our trained instructors, you’ll progress from an initiation track to a long circuit that includes near-vertical climbs and descents plus water troughs and mud.
After breaking for lunch, you’ll have an introduction to the demanding experience of rally driving. We have a gravel circuit where you’ll learn the counter-intuitive techniques, before setting some lap times in competition with the other participants. The day finishes with a passenger lap, where one of our pro instructors will show you how it’s done!
It all happens at our venue in the Cotswolds Water Park, Gloucestershire. You can book as an individual or group, so long as every member is over 18 and has a valid driving licence. You need to be between 5’ and 6’7” in order to fit in the cars and weigh less than 20 stone.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity - unless you want to come back and do it again!
