Get ready for a tour for the whole family where we'll take a boat trip along the Guadiana as well as discover the interior and coastal locations in the east of the Faro district through an incredible 4x4 route.
We will start in Vila Real de San Antonio, a border town located on the banks of the mouth of the Guadiana, we will board the boat that will take us to the end of the river and then head inland, sailing along the natural border that separates Spain and Portugal.
For 1 hour and a half, we will cross under the cross-border bridge, see the Spanish city of Ayamonte from the river, pass through the different landscapes offered by the inland cities and enjoy the views of this great boat trip.
As soon as we disembark, we will get in the 4x4 to embark on a journey through the interior of the Eastern Algarve. We will arrive at the Sapal Verde Natural Reserve, where the sound of the thousands of birds that inhabit it accompany the swamps where hundreds of animals pass through, such as the flamingos characteristic of the region.
We will follow the paths that connect the interior towns until we reach Cacela Velha, passing by the Beliche dam. In this coastal village we will stop to immerse ourselves in the traditions of the eastern Algarve and above all to enjoy the views of this small village.
As a culmination, we can stop on the way back at one of the farms responsible for making the famous Medronho, which we can try.
