Deal overview
This is a unique opportunity to get to know the Eastern Algarve on a route that will take you, both by sea and land, to the most emblematic places in the east of the district of Faro, in the eastern part of the Algarve.
We will start the route on the outskirts of Montegordo, from where we will go to the Marismas Natural Reserve, a place where a multitude of species live. Flora and fauna coexist in a protected landscape, such as the famous flamingosalready heritage of the area.
We will return to the 4x4 to continue the route towards Cacelha Velha, along the way we will descend through Barrocal and make a stop at one of the farms in the area where we will try typical products such as strong>medronho.
In Cacela Velha we will have time to get lost in one of the most important villages in the region, characterized by keeping typical Portuguese traditions alive, surrounded by wild beaches and endless vegetation.
Once again we will embark on our 4x4 route towards the Santa Rita National Forest, where we will get lost among roads and trails where animals such as deer or a multitude of bird species will be awaiting our visit.
We will return to the coast, where we will board a boat in the town of Cabanas that will take us to the island of Tavira, located in the Ria Formosanatural park, where we can take a walk, take a bath or have a drink in one of the typical restaurants in the area.
After the boat trip, the route will end and we will return to the starting point, having enjoyed a full day of new discoveries, nature, rural tourism and adventure in an environment yet to be explored in the Faro region. >
