4x4 route and boat ride Eastern Algarve children

You are facing a unique opportunity to get to know the Eastern Algarve on a route that will take you both by sea and by land to the most emblematic places in the east of the Faro district, in the eastern part of the Algarve.

We will begin the route in the surroundings of Montegordo, from where we will go to the Marismas Natural Reserve, a place where a multitude of species of Flora and fauna coexist in a protected landscape, like the famous flamingos already heritage of the area.

We will return to the 4x4 to continue with the route towards Cacelha Velha, during the journey we will descend through the Barrocal and we will stop at one of the farms in the area where we will try typical products such as strong>medronho.

In Cacela Velha we will have time to get lost in one of the most important towns in the region, characteristic for keeping alive the typical Portuguese traditions surrounded by wild beaches and endless vegetation.
We will once again embark on our 4x4 route in the direction of the Santa Rita National Forest, where we will get lost among roads and trails where animals such as deer or a multitude of bird species will be waiting our visit.

We will head back to the coast, from where we will board a boat in the town of Cabanas that will take us to the island of Tavira, part of the natural park of Ría Formosa where we can take a bath or have a drink in one of the typical restaurants in the area.

After the boat trip, the route will end and we will return to the starting point, having enjoyed a whole day of new discoveries, nature, rural tourism and adventure in an environment yet to be explored in the Faro region. u>
