What an off-road buggy experience is like
An off-road buggy is a small open car with a roll cage and a strong engine, built for mud, gravel and woodland tracks. After a briefing and a look at the controls, you put on a helmet and either drive a set circuit or follow a guide along forest trails. Some sessions are timed races in heats, others a tour at your own pace. They run from 20 minutes up to two hours, and many venues combine buggies with quad biking, archery or other activities over half a day or a full day.
The sector also covers kite buggying on the beach, where a power kite pulls a three-wheeled buggy across the sand, and reverse-steering buggies that turn the opposite way to the wheel. Some sessions are for two people sharing one buggy, one driving and one in the passenger seat. Off-road tracks get muddy, especially from autumn to spring, so expect to finish splattered. Wear old clothes and closed shoes, and bring a change.

Some sessions are for two, with one driving and one alongside. Otherwise the voucher covers its value and they make up the rest, or you buy a second voucher for the other person.
What if it's raining?
If the provider has to cancel for the weather, they agree another date with them.
