Our name comes from the Tiger Moth, possibly the most recognizable of all the 1930´s vintage Bi-planes.
We were the first modern company to offer Tiger Moth Flights, and we continue to be the sole provider of such flights in the West Midlands and South West. We offer more than just scenic flights and joyrides, we proffer the chance for people to fly 'hands-on' in vintage World War II Biplanes. We feature training planes from the Tiger Moth era, and to add the experience, we even include some in-flight aerobatics!
Our flights can be taken at any time of the year, as we fly every day. We always strive to provide an exciting, one of a kind adventure by actually flying an open cockpit bi-plane to as many people as possible.
Finally, Tiger Airways is always devoted to upholding the highest safety standards possible. Our planes are all maintained to the public, not private, flight standards for greater safety. Everyone on our staff is licensed to the standards of commercial or airline transport.
