Sackville Flying Club

Hello and welcome to Sackville Flying Club! You can find us in an enjoyable rural location in North Bedfordshire, which is a fantastic area for takeoffs and landings and home to a wonderful group of aviators that share their passion about flying. The main activities we practise here are power flying, microlight and gliding. Many of our instructors have qualifications in all three disciplines.

At our friendly airfield we also celebrate wonderful hot air ballooning activities and we have more launches now than previously, that’s why we host the Grass Roots Ballon Meet every autumn, a very lively event that is becoming more and more popular throughout the years. Everyone agrees that this is a magical event; if you see it once, you will want to come back.

Visitors are more than welcome here and we offer trial flights so they can see what is like. Would you like to take it more serious and learn how to become a pilot? You will receive top training course because all our instructors are certified under the British Microlight Aircraft Association (BMAA) and the British Gliding Association (BGA).
