In this article we'll examine the different prices offered by Spain's main ski resorts for the 2019-2020 season. We'll look at costs, what's included, access permissions, and available deals.
What is a ski pass?
If you've read this far, we assume you know what a ski pass is. But let's recap. It's essentially your personal, non-transferable ticket granting unlimited access to ski resort facilities, lifts and chairlifts.
Can I ski without a pass? Absolutely, but be prepared for extensive exercise and wasted ski time. You can reach different resort areas - but only on foot. Without a pass, you can't use any lifts or chairlifts.

The term "forfait" comes from French, originally referring to a prepaid service contract. In sports terms, it's a personal pass (costing X euros) granting access to specific facilities for a set period.
