Where Themed Games Take Place
To book this activity, you and your group don’t need to travel to any specific location, as the Despertalia team will come to any venue: a rural house (if you don’t know where to rent one, they’ll help), a restaurant, a hotel... they can even organise activities in your own living room. And not just that—it can take place both indoors and outdoors, as no special space is required.
There will be simpler games and others with more surprises, but all necessary materials will be provided: props, clues, special effects...
Who Can Participate
This activity is designed for all audiences aged 12 and up, as they offer a repertoire of various stories adapted to all possible themes, with medieval, mystery, and horror tales being the most popular. Groups of 8 to 40 people are needed, whether for a unique weekend with friends, stag/hen parties, or team-building events.
It’s a highly entertaining improvisation game where no specific acting skills are required—everyone can take part. Each of you will have a character to play, with a specific objective to achieve.
How do you achieve that objective? You’ll need to negotiate, bribe, seduce, threaten, and use every possible tool available.
It’s a game that demands full involvement, where everyone must contribute to keep the activity running smoothly: the more willing you are to have fun, the better it will turn out.
Different Themes for Role-Playing Games
To prepare for the activity, simply contact Despertalia and choose the right theme. They’ll send you a script written by them, and everyone will have a role to play. Depending on the chosen story, you’ll receive a script and background information on the different characters to prepare. Here are some examples to give you an idea:
- Sunset of the Dead. For some reason, the dead are rising and attacking the living... Only a group of civilians has managed to flee the city and take refuge in an old hostel—unfortunately located near an abandoned psychiatric hospital. Will they be safe?

- The Clown Affair. What seemed like a fun stag party, with everyone dressed as clowns, turns into a terrifying nightmare when one of the participants is found dead under mysterious circumstances. One of the attendees could be the killer—but who?
